1. The surface of the lead alloy produces oxides, sulfides or other double salt compounds during the corrosion process, which can prevent oxidation, vulcanization, dissolution or volatilization, so in the air, sulfuric acid, both fresh and seawater have good corrosion resistance.
2. Lead alloy has low melting point (below 327℃), good fluidity, small solidification shrinkage rate, less melting loss, small change in composition during remelting, and can be cast with complex shapes and clear contours, widely used in casting type and making models, etc.
3. The deformation resistance of lead alloy is small. The ingots can be made of plates, strips, pipes, bars and wires without heating by rolling, extrusion and other processes, and no intermediate annealing treatment is required.
